AVID Ratings and architecture/planning/interior design firm Bassenian|Lagoni presented the results of AVID's annual Design Drivers study at the 2011 International Builders' Show in Orlando. The study surveys U.S. and Canadian home buyers to learn where demand is for “green" features, home design features, home fixtures, exterior features, and community features. The 2011 study revealed shifting trends in home buyer desires, suggesting builders need to seriously look at several factors that, in the past, they may not have considered.
